You can register the printing destinations in the Manufacturer for Pharma application. The Manufacturer for Pharma application supports Graphic West, NiceLabel FTP, and NiceLabel Label Cloud destinations.

Creating a Printing Destination
Before You Begin
Make sure that you have created a business channel with Graphic West, NiceLabel FTP, or NiceLabel Label Cloud source.
The NiceLabel Label Cloud channel enables the users to connect to the on-premises computers that are available on the NiceLabel network. The channel can be used for printing orders or printing on-demand serials or SSCC labels.
Procedure
1. In the Manufacturer for Pharma application, open the Destinations tab. The application displays the list of printing destinations and the Create destination form.
Note: When viewing the details of a destination, you can open the Create destination form by clicking Add new +.
2. Fill in the form as described below. The required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) in the form.
Field | Description |

Name | Enter the name of the printing destination. Since this name is used for identifying the destination in the printing order, use an expression that is self-explanatory. |
Select business channel | Select the business channel that establishes a connection to the printers:

3. Depending on the selected channel, do one of the following:
- When selecting Graphic West or NiceLabel FTP, click Create. The destination is created. End of procedure.
- When selecting the NiceLabel Label Cloud business channel, configure the computer, the label template, and the printer. Continue with the next step.
4. After selecting a NiceLabel Label Cloud channel, configure the printing setup.

Creating a Printing Order
After a destination is created, you can create a printing order on-demand by selecting the destination in the list.
Before You Begin
Make sure that:
- You have enough serial numbers available in the pool.
- You have configured the printing destination.
Procedure
1. In the Manufacturer for Pharma application, open the Destinations tab. The application displays the list of printing destinations.
2. Select the printing destination. The application displays the printing destination details and the Create order form.
Example:
3. Fill in the form as described below. The required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) in the form.
Field | Description |

Order ID | Enter the order ID. Free-form text field. |
GTIN | Enter the GTIN of the product. The application displays a searchable drop-down with a prefiltered list of products. You can search for any product registered in the system by entering the product code or the product name in the search field. |
Amount | Enter the number of labels you want to print. |
Lot | Enter the batch (lot) number. |
Expiration date | Select the expiration date by using the datepicker. |
4. Click Create.
The printing order is executed on the selected destination.
- The printing file is sent to the selected FTP destination OR
- The order is printed on a printer hosted by on-premises computers running NiceLabel automation (NiceLabel Label Cloud).
The order is added to the list of printing orders that you can view on the Printing orders tab.

Updating a Printing Destination
Procedure
1. In the Manufacturer for Pharma application, open the Destinations tab. The application displays the list of printing destinations.
2. Select the printing destination in the list you want to update.
3. In the Update destination form, modify the fields as needed.

4. Depending on the selected channel, do one of the following:
- When selecting Graphic West or NiceLabel FTP, click Update. The destination is updated. End of procedure.
- When selecting the NiceLabel Label Cloud business channel, configure the computer, the label template, and the printer. Continue with the next step.
5. For a NiceLabel Label Cloud connection, configure the printing setup.
- Click Edit.
- The application displays the Printing setup window.
- You can define the computer, the label, and the printer, and then apply the settings.
- You can also preview the label.
- Click Preview to preview the label.
- Click Remove to remove the printing setup.
6. Click Update.

Deleting a Printing Destination
Procedure
1. In the Manufacturer for Pharma application, open the Destinations tab. The application displays the list of printing destinations.
2. Find the printing destination in the list you want to delete.

3. Click the delete icon and confirm the deletion by clicking Yes.
