The Serialized Logistics for Pharma application supports companies in carrying out scanning activities in their warehouses.
This article provides an overview of the application and a typical configuration workflow to ease understanding.

Overview (Tabs)
Warehouses
You can manage the sites where the serialized logistics are performed. You can assign a specific business channel to each warehouse separately or you can set a default channel on the Settings tab.
Operators
You can activate operators and assign the warehouse and the privileges to the operator.
Customers
You can register your customers and the customer sites. You can flag the customer as a Russian customer and provide the receiver ID of the customer so that you can ship items to this customer and send the request to SAP ICH.
Shipping orders
You can track the outbound orders on this page.
Settings
You can manage the application level settings:
- Default business channel.
- Serialized Logistics repository to collect the scanned data for reports and analysis.
- Commissioning unknown SSCCs.
- Allowing eCodes (China).
Configuration and Operation Workflow
Before You Begin
Make sure that:
- You have added mobile users to your tenant. For more information, see Managing Users of a Tenant.
- You have configured the channels you need.
You can connect to the following systems by creating the respective channels:
- SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals. For more information on the channel, see SAP ATTP.
- SAP Information Collaboration Hub for Life Sciences. For more information on the channel, see SAP ICH.
Optionally, you can create a dedicated repository to collect the scanned data for reports and analysis. The repository can be utilized by using the Serialized Logistics Reports application. For more information on repositories, see Managing Repositories.
Procedure
1. Manage the application-level settings
- Default business channel
- Serialized Logistics repository
- Commissioning unknown SSCCs
- Allowing eCodes (China)

2. Configure the warehouse. For more information, see Managing Warehouses.
3. Configure the operators by setting the warehouse and assigning privileges to the operators. For more information, see Managing Operators.
4. Create customers and customer sites. For more information, see Managing Customers.
5. As an operator, perform the site activities. For more information see Movilitas Mobile.
6. Monitor the shipping orders. For more information, see Viewing Shipping Orders.
7. Check the logs about the reports to the applicable external system.
- If you report the activities to SAP ICH, check the SAP ICH messages and make sure that the activities in your warehouse are successful. For more information, see Configuring and Monitoring an SAP ICH Channel.
