The NiceLabel Label Cloud channel enables the users to connect to the on-premises computers that are available on the NiceLabel network. The channel can be used for printing orders or printing serials or SSCC labels on-demand.


With this channel, you can perform the following functions:

  1. Add the computers that are available on the NiceLabel network. 
  2. Select the computers to view and select the labels and printers on the computers that can be used for printing the labels.


Currently, the NiceLabel Label Cloud channel can be used in the following applications:

  • Manufacturer for Pharma
  • Serialized Manufacturing
  • Repacker FMD

Configuring a NiceLabel Label Cloud Channel


Procedure


1. Go to Movilitas.Cloud Console --> My tenants.

2. Select the tenant or click Open tenant next to it.

3. On the Tenant Dashboard, select the Channels tab. The application displays the list of channels assigned to the tenant.



4. Depending on your setup, create a new NiceLabel Label Cloud channel or modify an existing one. Follow one of the procedures described in the table below.

4.1Click the + icon (Create channel). The application displays the Create channel dialog.

To search for a NiceLabel Label Cloud channel, use the search criteria field and the filters:

  • Enter the channel name in the search criteria field.
  • Select the status.
  • Select NiceLabel Label Cloud as the source.
  • Select Business channel as the type.
4.2Select Business channel as the type and click Create

The application displays the Create Channel page with an empty form to give the basic parameters of the channel.
To view the channel information, click the edit icon (Edit channel) next to the channel.

The application displays the Edit Channel page with the current channel settings, assets, and print history.
4.3Enter a name for the channel and select NiceLabel Label Cloud as the source.

Click Create Channel.


The application informs you about the additional costs. After confirming the creation, the application displays the Edit Channel page with:

  • A form where you can provide the connection details for the channel.
  • Assets and Print history.

5. Provide the NiceLabel Cloud settings as explained in the table below:

The application displays the list of computers that can be removed by clicking the icon (Remove computer).


6. Click Save Settings.


7. (Optional) Click Download configuration to download the NiceLabel Automation Manager configuration file to your computer.


8. (Optional) If needed, change the name of the channel and click Save Channel.

Viewing the Assets

You can monitor the connection status of your computer network and take action if there is a connection error.


Procedure


1. Go to Movilitas.Cloud Console --> My tenants.

2. Select the tenant or click Open tenant next to it.

3. On the Tenant Dashboard, select the Channels tab. The application displays the list of channels assigned to the tenant.

4. To search for a NiceLabel Label Cloud channel, use the search criteria field and the filters:

  • Enter the channel name in the search criteria field.
  • Select the status.
  • Select NiceLabel Label Cloud as the source.
  • Select Business channel as the type.


5. To view the channel information, click the edit icon (Edit channel) next to the channel. The application displays the Edit Channel page with the current channel settings, assets, and print history.


6. Select the Assets tab (displayed by default). The application displays the connection status.


If the computer network is not connected to the NiceLabel Automation, ensure that you apply the correct settings and click on the status to refresh it.

 

7. Select a computer from the drop-down and check the connection status.


If the computer is not responding, ensure that you apply the correct computer and settings.

Viewing the Print History

You can view the print history connected to your computer network. 


Procedure


1. Go to Movilitas.Cloud Console --> My tenants.

2. Select the tenant or click Open tenant next to it.

3. On the Tenant Dashboard, select the Channels tab. The application displays the list of channels assigned to the tenant.

4. To search for a NiceLabel Label Cloud channel, use the search criteria field and the filters:

  • Enter the channel name in the search criteria field.
  • Select the status.
  • Select NiceLabel Label Cloud as the source.
  • Select Business channel as the type.


5. To view the channel information, click the edit icon (Edit channel) next to the channel. The application displays the Edit Channel page with the current channel settings, assets, and print history.


6. Select the Print history tab. The application displays all the printing logs that occurred while using the NiceLabel Label Cloud channel.


  • Click > (Expand) to view the details of the specific print operation:

StatusThe status of the printing. The value is Error or Success.
Create DatetimeThe date and time of the printing operation.
Order nameThe order name.
Order locationThe order location, for example, an application.
ComputerThe computer on which the printing was created.
LabelThe printing label file.
PrinterThe printer name where the printing was performed.


  • To view the details of the order, click the Info icon.
  • To resend the order, click the Resend icon.
