It is possible that you need to scan items in a location that has no Internet connection or the Internet connection is limited to certain areas. 


You can perform offline scanning for the following actions, for both Wholesaler and 3PL modes:

  • Dispense
  • Destroy
  • Export
  • Sample
  • Free Sample

The scanned items are cached and you can check them in the offline list. Once your device is connected to the Internet again, you can log in to the mobile application, open the offline scanned items in the Wholesaler FMD application, and submit all items at once. After submitting the items, the application creates a bulk request per action.


Note: Offline scanning is only possible when Movilitas Mobile application is installed on a mobile device. Offline scanning is not supported in a web browser.


Before You Begin


Make sure the administrator has assigned you as an operator to the Wholesaler FMD application, assigned you to a warehouse, and authorized you to complete at least one activity.


Procedure


1. Open the Movilitas Mobile application. The application displays that you are not connected to the Internet. 

2. Confirm the message and continue.

3. On the login page, select OFFLINE SCAN. The application displays the modes of operation.

4. Select Wholesaler. The application displays the following options:

  • Dispense
  • Destroy
  • Export
  • Sample
  • Free Sample
  • Offline list

5. Select an action from the list for scanning.

6. Scan the packs. The scanned items are cached in the application.

7. Continue scanning for each required action. The scanned items are cached in the application.

8. To view the scanned items, select Offline list option. The application displays a summary of all the activities having offline scans. For each action, you can see the total number of scanned items. Slide the item to the left for further options:

  • DETAILS - Displays the details of each scanned item for the specific action.
  • REMOVE - Removes the action with all its scanned items from the list. Removed items are not cached anymore.

9. After you finished scanning offline and your device is connected to the Internet again, log in to Movilitas Mobile application.

10. Select Wholesaler FMD application.

11. (Optional) If Wholesaler and 3PL mode is set for the application, select the mode (Wholesaler or 3PL).

12. (Optional) In 3PL mode, select or scan the Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) client and then tap CONTINUE.

13. Select Offline scan in the list. The application displays a summary of all the activities having offline scans. For each action, you can see the total number of scanned items. Slide the item to the left for further options:

  • DETAILS - Displays the details of each scanned item for the specific action.
  • REMOVE - Removes the action with all its scanned items from the list. Removed items are not cached anymore.


14. To submit the requests, select DO BULK ACTION ON ALL. The application creates a bulk request per action and - when reporting to NMVS - the application displays the transaction ID for each action. You can check the progress of the request sent to the NMVS by selecting the Bulk Actions option.
